The Motherland

        I've escaped the winter wonderland of New York and the Midwest by escaping to the origin of my heritage: The Philippines!

       My mom is originally from Cagayan De Oro in the Mindanao region {They call it 'Prom Dee Probince'...Filipinos tend to change their F's to P's and all sorts of English alterations so technically it's 'From the Province'}. My family makes an effort to come over here every couple of years but it's been difficult with the state of the economy in the U.S. On top of that, I've been busy with fashion design school..and I would call that a heavy-duty task. Designing is not easy, people, especially at the school that I attend!

        So here we are..in the middle of a third-world country. And you know, I love it! It's my second home and I love it.  So I want to share it by posting my photos...
